140inABottle.jpgNo good can possibly come of an annoying Twitter application that got its inspiration from an even more annoying Kevin Costner film.

140inABottle allows users to send random, anonymous tweets via the 140inABottle Twitter account, naturally of 140 characters or fewer, requiring only the completion of a reCAPTCHA to avoid spam, TechCrunch reported. The tweets are delivered at random dates to random Twitter users.

Founder Sam Bensalem told TechCrunch his inspiration for 140inABottle was 1999 Costner flick Message in a Bottle.
