At the end of February the OMC crew headed down to San Deigo for our yearly conference, which also kicks off a summer full of one-day events all across the country. A list of exact stops and dates will be out soon! In the mean time, there were a number of great bloggers, content producers and writers who contributed their take on the summit. We’ve picked out a few that highlight some of the week’s events.
Web Pro News was on hand doing a number of interviews and documenting reactions, feedback, and information for use during and after the event. This particular clip discusses the fourth day of the conference, brought to attendees by Search Engine Strategies and featuring an amazing amount of search-related content.
Merritt Colaizzzi was live blogging from the event, particularly discussing the content strategy panel moderated by Joe Pulizzi. She mentioned her amazement at how few hands went up when marketers were asked how many had a content strategy in place. Fortunately her post and the session outlines some must-do’s to rectify that situation!
RibeezieMedia shared their feedback and a slideshare of presenter and Hubspot CTO, Dharmesh Shah’s presentation on mastering Twitter. As the post points out, there’s something for everyone, whether a newbie or a Twitter ninja!
In light of the new, insightful and informative search information shared at the summit, SearchEngineWatch took the opportunity to take a look back at how search marketing and the search industry in general has evolved over the past ten years.
If you missed it this year, stay tuned for a Summit coming to your area!
