It’s not that online video is anything new – we’ve all seen what kind of impact a viral video can have on a brand, for better or worse. But the online video platform has been criticized among B2B marketers because it’s often difficult to use it as a lead generation tool, and to get a significant return on investment. Aside from having a website mention with in the video, or even a title card within the video mentioning some offers, many have felt like there just wasn’t much else you can do, and therefore wasn’t worth the time.
As with most things online that have developed an unfavorable side to them – there’s now a workaround, thanks to an application created by VisibleGains. This app makes it easy to include links and offers as an integrated part of the video experience, but in an unobtrusive way that can be ignored if the viewer isn’t interested. You can use these capabilities to point to additional informal, full-length video, offers, websites and more. As WebInkNow mentions in their article on this new tool: Brand Journalism becomes lead generation.
Video is easy to shoot and a good way to enhance your brand and your website, but now you can make those videos interactive and use them to generate leads.
