It’s almost 2010. Do you know where your SEO/PPC/CRM/SM/EM/UX/B2B/ROI campaigns are?

Whew!  I think we’re just making up acronyms at this point.  Thankfully, it’s not about how many.  (How did “Octo-mom” get in here?)

We drink milk to grow up big and strong, have caffeine to stay sane, and take vitamins to prevent us from getting sick.  This is how integrated strategy should work.   In order to fully intertwine campaigns, you must strengthen the foundation supporting your strategy.

Communication is the Mega-ultimate-multivitamin of your integration.

Develop a Plan of Action with specific goals for ONE campaign at a time. This will keep you sane.

Without consistent communication, everything falls apart.  Your PPC plan won’t know where SEO got its keyword information; accounting won’t know about your social media team spending 258 hours online; and the online sales team won’t know where they’re getting their converted leads.  The problems are endless.  Take the time to fully understand and communicate your campaign goals before implementation.  This will save you countless headaches from carousel activity, when you should be moving forward.

Connecting everything together requires a strength you develop from the beginning to create momentum and endurance.
